Students Making a Difference

Our Mission Statement:

Humanity Now,  in collaboration with the Ludlowe Corps, is an organization that empowers school children in the United Sates to make a difference in the lives of others by helping them gain access to water, better health, and better education.  By working collectively with parents, communities, and other organizations, Humanity Now offers service oriented learning opportunities to teachers and students in the United States who seek to help people in developing parts of the world realize their potential. Through Humanity Now's educational partnerships and experiential learning models, our volunteers help children all over the world gain access to clean water, better education, better health, and a better standard of living. Humanity Now's activities allow student volunteers to develop a sense of personal achievement, connection to community, and global awareness.  Humanity Now fosters cultural exchange between participating schools and the individuals in the communities who need assistance.  It is our belief that through service minded education,  we can better understand the interconnectedness of our world, and at the same time, make it a better place for all.

Ludlowe Corps 4: Ecuador!!!

The Ludlowe Corps is blazing a new trail!!  There has been an overwhelming response to studying the physical and cultural characteristics of one of Latin America's most cherished countries- Ecuador!!  On next year's trip, parents and students will be trekking the Amazon, Andes, and the Galapagos, learning about the people and place that is this wonderful South American country.  Similarly, we will identify and assist communities in remote areas that have the desire to work towards improving health, education, and their environment.
